What has changed?

"We’re now looking at having most of this be server side and using an IEFrame for viewing the catalog. This would allow instant updates (no work on our part) and we could get listings from the MySQL database. Nothing is for sure, this may not work out. But this seems like a better option than parsing an XML file we have to manually update."

"We have decided to support devices from Pocket PC 2003 to Windows mobile 6.5. Support for devices older may be added in the future. But at the moment we have no plans to support them."

What's been done?

"Fixed a Windows Mobile compatible version of WGET to download .CAB files without user action, started prototyping a new file extension and format, added some basic installation logic, and much more. TLDR, Loads of stuff."

When is the next release?

Soon. V0.0.1PTB (What a mouthful) is currently slated to be released on January 8th, 2021. This date may change so stay tuned for an update beforehand. The features currently set to be included are below.

• Working catalog page, fetching titles and download URLs from archive
• Basic UI
• Working Application .CAB file downloading
• Working Application .CAB file instalation
• Stable Application with no risk of the user device damage.
